NEW! State Level Registry OPEN -The provider section of the State Level (Medi-Cal) Registry for EHR Incentives is up and running as of Tuesday, January 3rd! Log on to http://medi-cal.ehr.ca.gov/ for more information.
Group Registration - Physician practices who meet the “group” or “clinic” eligibility are STRONGLY encouraged to create their group account in the state level registry (SLR) as soon as possible to ensure that when a provider affiliated with a group or clinic registers they can link to your group. Groups registering at Medi-Cal must include every provider who contributed visits to the Medi-Cal eligibility. Group registration is only at the state (Medi-Cal) level; assignment of incentive payment is only at the national (CMS) level.

All providers, even those submitting for the Medi-Cal incentive program, must register for the EHR incentive program at the CMS website as well as with Medi-Cal. Medi-cal providers are strongly encouraged to register with the CMS website FIRST, and then complete their registration process with Medi-Cal. The deadline for attestation for Medi-Cal has been extended from February 29, 2012 to March 31, 2012.
AIU DEADLINE - The AIU deadline was December 31, 2011: Medi-Cal providers must have signed an EHR vendor contract by December 31,2011 to meet the AIU (Adopt –Implement-Upgrade) requirements and qualify for an incentive payment in 2011.
