CalHIPSO Identifies EHR Vendors! CalHIPSO has completed STAGE I of a two stage process to identify and contract with selected Electronic Health Record product vendors. Eight vendors were identified in four provider categories based on a lengthy evaluation activity culminating in a Request for Proposal (RFP) process. STAGE II has been launched which includes the development of Group Purchasing contracts for each of the identified STAGE I vendors. This process includes participation of other state-wide organizations to capture not only Meaningful Use requirements, but future capabilities to be integrated into the products under contract. Service Partner Registration is Now Available!
CalHIPSO is pleased to announce the opening of its Service Partner (SP) registration process on the CalHIPSO Web Site. We would like to welcome those service partners that meet the criteria to complete the application, pay the processing fee and become a rostered Service Partner. After an application is approved, the SP will be added to the CalHIPSO Service Partner Roster and made available on the web site for Local Extension Centers (LECs) and Providers to access.

CalHIPSO is one of 60 federally-designated Regional Extension Centers around the country and provides REC services to all of California except Los Angeles and Orange County.
